The participants underwent the entire process of obtaining an accurate impression: from selecting the tip and preparation protocols to extracting the impression from the oral cavity without deformation.
During the session, prosthodontist Anton Beytan discussed various types of impression materials (including the Zhermack range, monophase silicones, polyethers), the algorithm for selecting and customizing trays, classical and “popular” methods for taking impressions, as well as detailed retraction protocols.
A separate section was dedicated to Dentsply Sirona’s solutions for indirect restorations of anterior and posterior teeth, as well as the nuances of working with modern composite cements.
As part of the practical section, each participant’s errors were reviewed.
