The Swiss company SGS Dental once again held a major international congress that brought together specialists in the field of implantology and maxillofacial surgery. In 2025, the picturesque Lopota Lake Resort & Spa in Georgia became the venue for this significant event.
Among the congress participants is the Unident delegation, which includes doctors from various regions of Russia working with the SGS implant system. From September 11 to 14, they exchanged professional knowledge, shared clinical experience, and discussed current trends in the development of implantology.

The Russian delegation was represented by high-level specialists from Moscow, Krasnoyarsk, Samara, Kemerovo, and other cities. The company Unident was represented by Evgeny Shapovalov, the head of the implantology department. According to him, international congresses are particularly valuable because they provide an opportunity to discuss professional issues in an informal, friendly atmosphere, which contributes to deeper mutual understanding and the development of partnerships among colleagues.
The warm and cordial welcome of all participants, including representatives of the medical and dealer communities from Russia, was especially valuable to me. The organization of the congress was at the highest level, and the program was well-thought-out and informative, says Yevgeny Shapovalov, head of the implantology department at Unident.
As part of the educational section, the discussion of clinical cases from colleagues in other countries sparked particular interest, facilitating an effective exchange of professional experience and expanding expert knowledge. I can confidently note that the dialogue between the participants was constructive and productive.
During informal communication, there was an opportunity to meet dealers from other countries, discuss brand development issues in various regions, and share thoughts and practical experiences. It is impossible not to note the hospitality of the host side, thanks to which the participants were able to enjoy the atmosphere of Georgia, learn about its culture, and meet wonderful people.
