The Italian Embassy in Moscow hosted a ceremony on 27 September to award the Knight Orders of the Star of Italy to Iveta Manasherova and Tamaz Manasherov. The award is presented by the President of the Republic of Italy for special merits in the promotion of friendly relations and cooperation between Italy and other countries.
In his speech during the awards ceremony, Pasquale Terracciano, Italian Ambassador to Russia, emphasized that thanks to the Foundation U-ART and its founders many important cultural events took place in Moscow that have become landmarks for Russian-Italian friendship and cooperation – the retrospective of Lucio Fontana, the exhibition “Italian Futurism from the Mattioli Collection. Russian Cubo-Futurism from the Russian Museum and Private Collections”, as well as many others.
The diplomat noted separately the foundation’s activities in the field of promotion and support of Italian musicians and Italian music – the international festivals Vivacello and Vivarte.
We sincerely congratulate Iveta Manasherova and Tamaz Manasherov on receiving the Orders of the Star of Italy! Finally, it is important to note that the Foundation U-ART and Unident Group of Companies have contributed to the implementation of many «Italian» projects, and friendly, business and cultural relations at the international level with the Italian Republic will only be strengthened.
